hum, currently in my Psych 300A class... kind of bored... though it is interesting....
ah, labtop is sooo convenient... DL like at least 15 gigs so far... with less than 7 days of school so far too :P
Blah, 3 of my 5 classes require essays... all worth alot... in my classical studies it's worth 50%, my asian 310 (the chinese cinema one) is 2 essays (one worth 60%), my asia 346 has crap loads to read and has a essay worth 60 also :( dang, so annoying...those essays...
Well, found a amusing fanfic yesturday, a cross btw FFX and harry potter... very amusing: Dark Summoner
check it out if you're interested... it's one of the few fanfics that i recommend :P

Jessica tricked me into going to some vegetarian resturant today. We went to Nan's or something... I didn't bother w/ the name... it wasn't worth it.
We arrived there after a somewhat long drive... she had trouble parallel parking, so i told her to get out, and i parked for her... i mean, 5 mins and still fixing the car's position... come on!... so i got on, after 1 min it was fixed and we went to the resturant.
It looked like a small cafe... until i saw the menu. NOTHING BUT YUCK. veggies all the way. So i played it safe and ordered fries w/ sesamie seeds from the appetizer menu.
that didn't turn out well. the fries were potato wedges, coated in some kinda glaze then baked... BAKED!!! i was hoping for fried... but alas... yuckie all the way.
the burgers, i would've tried it except they were all veggie burgers, and everyone say those are ewwww.
So, i sat through the meal, ate 2 wedges, then gave the rest to jess to eat... disgusting... the gravy was made from yogurt or something... ew! i hate yogurt...
needless to say, I ain't going there ever again...
Jess got some kinda burrito... w/ tofu and veggies...so not worth the 9 bucks she paid, i 'stole' the soup that came w/ her meal, which was also yuck... potato and veggie, potato bland, veggies... bland, soup... bland..., Jess also got some kinda..milkshake... veggie shake or something...
Then we went to oakridge mall and got the dreaded towels that she's been bitching about getting, then i carried those towels while she walked around the mall, brought herself socks, and some...other feminie stuff that i should not write here, and basically follow her around, holding her purse whie she picked crap out and frowning and pouting for the hours she wasted of my life...
Hopefully she'd leave for seattle tmr, she mentined that she MIGHT go... which ruined our plans to buy school texts ...which i planned w/ her weeks ago... now we're pushing back to monday.. hopefully they'll still have used books for my psych texts, those are pricy... like 100+ for each book... maybe i'll go tmr myself...but i'm soooo lazy... i'd probaly sleep in.. been sleeping alot lately..ah, vacation nice :) Posted at 10:08 pm by jenniyah

Gah, christmas again... Trafficjams for the days following and procedding... how fun is that!?
My friend reminded me that I haven't updated in a while...so here it is.. a lame update...
Let's see... lately...hum.. well, my last exam was on wedesday...so i've been lazying about since then... I went to Chinatown on thursday to pick up a comic SILVER DIAMOND vol 6, a really cool comic... I love it!
After picking up the comic, i went to metrotown... got my favorite ARBYS'
saw that they have christmas dinners there in teh fast food place... was ...weird, seeing a full turkey served... it was like... a few slices + 3 side dishes for 6 bucks or sth, a good deal, I've tried convincing jessica to go w/ me to eat there... but alas...she thinks it's a dumb idea... I don't know why... it's cheap, it looks good... and we'd be out of the house for a few hrs.
Jessica came back from her whistler trip today... we went out for dinner... she showed me the pictures she had on the digital camera... only of the area surrounding the condo she stayed at, and teh condo itself... nothing from teh actual fun in the snow. She said she didn't want to take teh camera w/ her then...
she mentieond snowboarding and hiking... yeah, sounds fun... and the car was filthy when she brought it back..so groseeeee
she also got caught speeding... 140 in a 100 zone....
She bitched about her friends sleeeping on the way home... she said she was soo tired of driving...w/out anyone to talk to..haha
Now i'm home... reading fanfiction...which i love doing... I guess I could con't my YGO site... but... the copyright thing is bugging me... and i've been stressed for time
I did soo bad in Psych302..:( only got 50% exactly...ouch, well, i guess it's not bad considering the lack of answers i put in the short answer section... not that i can be blamed... 60MC and 14SA in 1 hr...impossible... I finished the MC, then i had enough time to read over the SA and scribble 2 answers before it was pencils down time.... but pass is a pass...
Jap 300 is bad also. I forfeit the final to study for the damn Psych 302 too..cuz i knew the exam was time constricting... that was a waste.... i shoulod've studied jap instead... now i have to repeat that course to get to next level in the summer... a step back in teh plan... I still passed.. but you need like a certain percent to get to next level... close...but not close enough...
Jap 302, i got hopes for that, that exam was last, and i studied like crazy. I think i did well enough to take 303 in january.
Gah, stupid jap, now i have to take 5classes per term till I grad...
And I was reading over the JET program thing yesturday...after my mom nagged me for a bit... found out i mite not qualify... the diabetes... it said that i should be healthy and such... well, i guess the fact that i ain't in tip top shape would factor in... I guess i'll have to try to lose weight, but even then... the diabeties is a tricky one... they only need soo many ppl, and i hear they accept applicatnts from all over the world :( so chances are slim.. I must plan something else...
Well, there was something about teaching english in Korea.. maybe i'll take a look at that... but i so perfer japan :(...but a job's a job... but JET is also only 1 yr anyway... maybe i'll look for something here, get a education degree (6month for the fast one, 1 yr or sth for hte slower one) and teach a bit, then go over.... hum... I don't think my parents would like to pay for the extra 6mnth though... I guess i could do part time... meh, i'll see then...still a yr and half away...
Now, to enjoy the god damn stupid christmas specials on..gah, i hate those!! how many times do i need to see charlie brown's christmas special ... why must they show it EVERY F^&KING DAY... on the same channel sometimes too..geesh... Posted at 9:49 pm by jenniyah

woah, the last few days have been super foggy...
since they started filming some movie or something..it's been foggy...
could it be their fog machine malfunctioning..haha :P i doubt..it's foggy everywhere
today, it seemed like it owuld be ok, but..alas...fog in afternoon :P
just a short entry...busy playing catch up...
so much work..gah!! taking 5 classes suxs.... now it looks like i might have to take extra 1/2 yr... which equals 1 yr, cuz they don't issue the bacholors degree till may :(

Yep, another Proctor Job yesturday.... Oct 1st 2005, my 3rd time working
This time, I was in the back room in Hebb.
It was ok, I was under Jared, he's a ok guy, slacked off allowed :P
not sleep wise, cuz he does like to look in my direction every now and then to make sure i'm still awake :P
Walked around twice, then sat for a min or two, then con't.... that was the routine..
I had the job of handing out papers and collecting them, and did my first ever seating chart.
Messed up once, then had to erase and redo every 2nd row, i forgot to zig zag when writting the names down :P and wrote them all from one direction, which didn't represent them in the zig zag format that i collected the papers from :P so had to erase them...hehe
Took me about 35mins to do it...wow... i was shocked :P
I also was the runner, I had to deliver the finished MC sheets to Steph in buchannan when they wrote the written section.
He was super cool about the job. He told me he's applying for police work in Calgary... so another supervisor spot opening soon?.... I know i won't get it, but I think draino has a chance, he's been there for a while, and the ohter girl i spoke to, thought has seniority of a few yrs, her and her husband has been busy so will probably be unable to do it. So draino has a really good chance...
But Jared mentioned that it's not worth it, he gets like 98 bucks.... not that much diff. for what I get 70, but has alot of work.......
hehe, someone canceled during the exam, so Jared had to write a SIR, he rewrote soo many times... hehe it was amusing to see him going back and rewritting time and time again.... I was just THAT BORED!! Yep, that bored.... Next time if i'm in back rooms, i'm bringing a magazine like Jared did :P
Jessica was also in that day, draino finaly recomended her to Step. and got hired :)..now she won't bug me anymore..yeahhhhhh
I picked up draino and cindy early to arrive there, was my turn to do car pool driving...
jessica said cindy was very rude about arriving 15mins early
Now that she said that, i kinda thought so too, yes, i am easily persuaded :P
Meh.... I didn't think that much about till after the exam when i found out Cindy was getting a ride from someone else... :(
On our way home, we made draino fix our flat tires.... they were kinda low on air...so we made him do it at the gas station before we dropped him off...whahahahahhhhaha abusing draino...whahahahha
i was freaking cuz the tires looked super inflated afterwards, and we borrowed some guy's pressure meter, said 45, while max was 35, but draino said that it was ok, cuz the tires inflate when we drive, and we just drove from UBC, but if they go boom ... i know what happened:P
But until then, i shall con't to be skeptical and check the tires every now and then :P
but maybe me and jess should get a pressure meter some time, harry has one too, seemed nice, but i wonder if it'll be pricy... i'm thinking like 10 bucks or something, which is a good buy then, since the tires do seem to deflate quickly.... maybe there's a flat...?....hum...
meh, will decide later, kinda pondering if i shoudl skip psych 315 class tmr, I got a oral exam first thing at 2pm (scared :(...) and then I have class at 5 (psych), so if i skip psych, i can come home at 3:30 and be home by 4:30, then i can work on the presentation i have for tmr's Asian studies class...which is freaking me out cuz i'm still doing the reading, 10 more of the actual diary reading, then the 21 page critique i'm suppose to summarize and comment .... must...read... but must study for oral exam...gah, ok, no more journal entry...must do hw and study!! Yep, dating this back a few days (to the actual date) since I was too lazy to blog it that nite....
I got a phone call from Draino friday night... Sept 30 2005, around 7:30 or so, saying that they were thinking of going to dinner in richmond...
seeing that I had friday off, and I was home, that sounded like the perfect plan...
I waited for them to arrive.... and waited...and waited... finally at 9:15 or so, they FINALLY arrived and were walking to Hot pot on alexander rd. They decided on hot pot...jessie loves that stuff... and i don't mind
I walked out...
And sat w/ them when i arrived. It was just me Draino, Jessie and Pine
Jessie and pine sat together on one side, I sat across from Pine, and Draino across from Jessie on my left hand side.
We ordereed tons of food. Pine got a glass of Cane juice, while we ordered a refillable 11dollar pitcher of Coke. We drank about 3-4 pitchers :P
It was all u can eat... 18 bucks... +tax :( the day totalled about 26 bucks w/ tip for each of us
Jessie/Pine/Draino were comming from a beer garden. Dan anderson supplied free shots of Vodka and Rum for drinking games after that... before the came to dinner w/ me
So, they were a bit drunk...which made the day very very nice... Jessie said alot of things she usually wouldn't... and they told me of how Pine swears perfusly when he's drunk. Like every ohter word is followed by 'fuck'. It sounded fun, and I wish i was there to see that :(
Apparently, jessie didn't drink as much as others, since someone was willing to drink teh shots sometimes when she lost:P
Well, i woudln't have participated since I don't drink :P but it would've been nice to watch..meh, next time :P hehehehe
dinner was nice.... Jessie/Draino got a med spicy side while me and Pine ate from the normal stock
Spicy sauce sneaked it's way into our side... and I thought that sometimes the food was a big spicy..
Pine was allergic to too much spice, so he got a bit sick in the end, I don't know if it's from his lack of sleep, coupld w/ booze and spicy that made him feel bad... But he didn't die, just felt sickly on his way home... He felt better when I msged him later that night
After dinner, we walked along alex. rd and on garden city, I went home through the back gate, and waved byez to everyone while they con 't to gardnecity/cambie so jessie/pine could catch the 410 and draino 407, which arrived at teh same time.... hehe:P
Draino said he saw jessie run after the bus.... But they all got on their busses all right...
It was fun, but i was somewhat sickly from teh bad lunch I ate, decided to eat some chinese leftovers from monday.... 4 days in fridge food didn't sit too wel in stomach that night.... but survived... and next friday, i'll hold off the several day old food...
almost seems like they do something like this every friday.... this friday, i'll wait a bit to eat dinner, maybe they'l phone me again :) dang, almost makes me wish i had friday school....almost :P
Gah, also discovered last night that i only have 18crd of the 24 needed of outside specialities classes...uhoh, i hope i can use asian studies classes, but...japanes major now calld 'asian studies language and culture' requires those asian studies... does that mean i got to take 6 more of crap classes...gahhhhhhh nooooooo My summer will suck. I'l have to take 4 classes in summer :( i'll dieeeeeeee but i can't take another 1/2 yr. parents said i only got till end of 4th yr university to finish... uh oh, intense summer here i come :( Posted at 11:59 pm by jenniyah

Yesturday, Friday Sept 1st, I went to PNE. the Fair part, kyle, jessie, pine and jessie's friend did the rides part, while me, kat, irish, patrick did the fair only part.
We (kyle, me, irish, jessie, pat) were suppose to meet at 29th stn at 10:30. I arrived about 10mins or so late... stupid skytrain runs soo slow now...strange..., well, anyways, i arrived at about 10:38 or so...
kyle and pat were there, we had to wait about a hr for jessie :( and Irish was still waking up, so we didn't see her till.... quite late... 4pm?
so, we arrived at PNE at 12. Actually got seats on the bus going there, very nice, considering that it was filled to the brim.
First, we paid for our tickets, kyle me and pat brougth the 15 dollar fair entrance... jessie brought the rides one
soo pricy!! 15 bucks. i can say this is the last year i go! (unless for food)
Then, we entered, and went to the washroom :P... then we wandered around... past the orchestra... it was ok
then we wandered around for a bit, we had no interest in anythign there... we went to the market place...brought smoothies
we went to the petting zoo, saw the pig race... and also went to see the super dog show....
pig place, smelly and dirty, super dog... clean, but the stairs to the seating at the top were scary, they turned off the lights while we were climbing... very scary... and a very very long drop down!
then, we went to see the games... jessie and her friend got their ride stamp and ... we went to the miniture golf section, irish came, and kyle was conned by jessie to buy a ride pass for 30 bucks!!!
So, me Irish, pat and soon, kat just wandered around looking at stuff.... we went to the marketplace at irish's insistance (again), irish spotted something for jessie's b-day.. it looked good, so me and irish chipped in for it...
irish also brought some pots... heavy, but she carried them around alllll day!
then, we just...wandered around a bit, me and irish went seperate from pat/cat... but we met up w/ them later at about 6pm at white spot, where pine, jessie and them were eating dinner....
i mooched off pine's fries, and later...his drink :P fries made me thirsty so when i asked for a sip of his coke, and he said he didnt' want, i took the whole cup :P
everythign was overpriced...:( but i still brought food (for lunch earlier) i got a corn dog (not pogo, but the kind made there, very very good) 4 bucks, a hot dog (foot long, not so good) 5 bucks, a meat ball skewer (ok, but sauce bad) 2.50, a bottle of water when mine's ran out 2.50, mini donuts 2.50.
I also wanted to try the fried bread...but didn't have time, too full
so, after we wandered around for a bit more... me, irish, kat and patrick went to anton's to eat dinner.
kat's friends joined us.... so the 8 of us had to wait for table... which wasnt' that long... it was weird, usually big groups take longer, but this time, it was about same time :) so its' all good... if it had taken longer, i'd have been super mad! cuz i was hungry, and feet hurt like hell from the several hrs of walking!!
so we ate. the food there is really good... the girl across from me (kat's friend) ordered this super delicious potato dumpling..yum...not actual dumpling, but like.... pasta dough w/ potato mixed in it, then made to dumpling (circular) like shape... I shall order that next time i go, cuz it's super good
patric was the only one to finish his plate, but they didn't give out pens for that anymore, so he didnt' get one
kat's friend who was alergic to seafood, acidentally ate some of kat's pasta, which she found out later had seafood in it, but he didn't get sick... so, meh... he only ate the pasta, and not the actual seafood, so the trace amount on the sauce must've been ok.
then, irish drove us to 22nd (since she lived there) so me and pat got a ride :)
i took the bus from there, pat took skytrain...
the day was very boring... my stupid camera ran out of batteries (mre like didnt' recharge right sigh...) so it was stuck in 'on' format, w/ the lens sticking out.... gah, i had to use tissue paper to cover it to avoid damaging the lens... very annoying...
the food (though expensive) was the only good thing about today...

my sister just got home, first thing she does is help lug 1 of the 4 luggages up the stairs (4 steps, or was it 3) to the house..... i drag it into the hallway, then she comments that the house is dirty...and expected me to clean it.... yep, 1:16pm Sunday August 28th, hell on earth returns .... how nice...
now she's looking at something... well, i just bailed after i finished lugging the luggages up the stairs... oh, she's yelling at me now
gah, she got me to unpack her crap... so far, 3 figurine set +1 for my friend... and whole bunch of stuff for her.... oh. like her 2 cases of clothes!!
which she now has me holding a garbage bag whie she shifts through her old clothes to give to salvation army.....
in w/ new, out w/ old eh....
gah, i got soo few stuff :( unhappy!!!
but expected since jessica is a selfish bitch...
she's also missing volumes in my naruto collection, she didn't get 23 or 27 :( so i have a giant gap in my set...booooooooo
now i must pretend to work otherwise she'd make me shift through her new clothes and watch as she goes through her old clothes, commenting on how it's a waste that i'm not skinny enough to fit into her old 'bigger' clothes :(... me hate her soo much!!!
she also says what a waste it is to donate her burberry clothes... she said that's some expensive brand name... booo!! like i care....
she also got a super cute t-shirt, which when i saw asked where's mine's... which she retorted that they don't carry that big a size... booo!!!!
I shall edit this and add more to come throughout today :P since i doubt this will end anytime soon... but i must retreat to the sanctuary that is the messy suitcases to pretend to work....
2:13, well, went through all suitcases... i can say I GOT NOTHING!!! grrrrr
the stupid new cell phone got a holder... but it's got nothing for me to attatch to the hip to!!! and it's crappy mickey mouse!!!!

well, today, friday, me, harry, irish, jessie and irish's friend cathy went to see the brothers grim
Harry picked me up...which was unexpected, since our original plan was to meet at 22nd and proceed to metro. But, harry hates transit, so, gave me a ride... we arrived super early, he left his house at 1:30 and we got to metro like...around 2:15 or so...
Me and harry had lunch, Arby's he likes Arby's too :)
he had a sandwich, i had combo 1, roast beef :)
Then, we chatted and waited for Jessie at the food court....
We proceeded to the theatre, where we waited for Irish to arrive, she was late :(
But me and jessie and harry chatted, talked about the disadvantages of being the elder child.. how younger child gets everything :( which i totally agree!!
harry thought differently, since he and his sister somewhat get along, and he says her sister lacks the social skills required for jobs
Irish arrived like 10mins before 4, when the movie starts. We got seats and watched the movie...
Pine phoned my cell like 10mins before the movie ended, but it was on silent/vibrate, so i ignored it :P
Pine joined us for dinner, we had Red Robins again :(, it wasn't so bad......
the funniest thing would be when Pine ordered a "Mud Pie with a side of Bacon"
Mud Pie is a desert, ice cream pie...
the waiter hearing this, repeated the order and then left to get it....
we were near the kitchen, so we heard that when he did order it, he had to repeat "yes, that's what I said"
The waiter also had to come a few mins later, and ask how we wanted the bacon, on the side of teh plate... or....
Pine settled for 'on a side dish'
it was funny :P everyone laughed... and when the bill came it said

the bacon was like 1.70 or something... hehe
Pine ate some whip cream w/ bacon... jessie and irish didn't like that and 'ewwwww'-ed alot, i tried it, it was ok....
with the amount of whip cream present, you only taste the whip cream at first, then as the cream melts on you tongue, you get the saltyness and bacon taste that the bacon accompanied
After that, we wandered around metro for a bit, Irish wanted to buy a new outfit for their outing on sunday to some club... me hate clubbing, so i was happy i wasn't invited (and jessie/irish knew, so they knew not to invite me)
then, time to leave..... we decided to go play pool... But irish insisted on driving cathy home. since she missed her last bus to her neighbourhood.... good thing irish insisted, cuz Harry was going to do it.... but it turned out (we discovered this later when irish and jessie joined us for pool) that they spent 20mins circling cathy's neighbourhood since she didn't recall where her house was :P
Jessie went w/ irish and cathy, i snagged Pine to play pool w/ me and harry, it would've been weird had it been just me and harry alone :(
I did a few good shots... hehe :P there was this one where I got 3 balls in 1 after the other...
we played pool till about 12:10 or so, paid.... we each paid like 6 bucks
then, Harry drove pine home, and me...then ..here I am.
The Movie itself wasn't that good. The CG wasn't very good...:( the movie was childish, too happy ending in the end for my taste... not enough truth in it... but, a good movie to pass the time... but i certainly would not pay to see it again...
Later when i came home, i had a msg on the machine from my dad, telling me to phone their cells. turns out they went to Mong Kok today.... but STILL GOT ME NOTHING!! grrrrrrrr how annoying, don't phone me if you went, but still got me zippppp!!!

well, guess what, she got me again.....
she tricked me to do 4 months worth of slave work, sifting through her mail, paying off her credit cards, even taping all those shows she watches... which amounted to about 11 tapes or so...
yet, of the 2 big and 1 small suitcase she gets to bring back from HK, i bet my stuff doesn't even equal 1/2 of the small suit case
she got me 11 comic books (while i asked for more..., it wouldn't sound too bad since it's through a 4 month period, but she got on on wednesday --she leaves sunday)
3 set of chibi figurines
1 set of regular size figurine (still not that big since they're dismantled from box) for my friend who's going to pay back so doens't really count!
1 set of small keychain
and, well, that's it from the long long list i gave her, not even half of my wishlist is fulfilled... and i had to send her the list twice since she lost the first one
she got most of this stuff on wednesday... all but the 3chibi figurines parents brought w/ her about 2 months into the trip
she insteads stuffs her new iPod, lots of clothes and all her CD's and junk to bring back... and she also got to go to china twice, cambodia once, and japan once...
well, i sure konw who my parents like more
i just can't believe it!!! how unfair!! sure, i heard i get like 1 dress pants, 1 jean, and about 3-4 t-shirts also... but nothing amounting to the crap she's bring back for herself!!!!!!
i'm going to soo delete those tapes i taped for her...
she even had the audacity to hang up when she told me this, and i retorted and complained... she hanged up upon hearing my 'what... why! there's 3 suitcases...'
she wouldn't even let me bitch to her about the unjustice... which would've made me feel better... but nooooooooo
i'm soo not cleaning her room, i was planning on making the house nice and clean, and even change her bedsheets before she came back, but screw her! i'm only cleaning the rooms i use now... my bedroom and kitchen and washroom
she even got to use the new cell phone i was suppose to get (since she got a new one earlier already in canada)
and sure, you all can say 'you got a new labtop' but i retort w/ this, jessica got a new desktop AND a new LCD monitor, while i use the old old radioactive-cancer producing monitor that i got in 98 or so, along w/ the desktop that is also of that time
even when jess got a new computer, her old one was still newer than the one i'm using.... but nothing was compatable... :( not even the ram..!!!
well, now at least i have proof that my parents love her more!!!!
she even tried to get me to clean up grandma's room since she said grandma mite be comming later this year... i'm soo not doing that w/out her....
and my parent's wouldn't even hear me out when i tried to complain.... saying i should focus on my studies... oh, little do they konw, this incident will be burned into my brain, and will consume my thoughts as i burn w/ rage at every waking moment, or everytime i see my sister...
it's not like she's doing that good in school anyways, ... sure, she got accepted to english major... while i only got psych and japanese (both dont' require any form of actual marks to get in while englihs actually consider applicants) but at least i didn't fail my classes so frequently on purpose like her
I don't waste money like her, take a class, then fail cuz i'm too lazy to write the report...
i hate my sister! and i humoured her for 4 months thinking she'd get my crap...... ohhhhhhhhh i'm going to explode w/ rage!!!!!
the stinging hollow feeling from her betrail and lies hurts .... considering the fact that i did EVERYTHING she told me to from taping her shows to faxing her UBC letters and phoning the administrative office on her behalf and the list goes on....
